RIAA's members still doing drugs

popcorn

This is so riddiculous that I'm not even going to analyzise it though: just read for yourself: NBC says that P2P is making the Corn business suffer. WTF? Well, their "concept" is that P2P is one easy way of downloading movies, so people don't go to theatres, so theatres sell less popcorn, so corn farmers sell less corn. Erm... I'm speechless.

  2. Regrettably they seem to be missing the real point!
These people download movies and watch them at home therefore, they don't _drive_ to theaters and thus they don't put as much gas on their SUVs as they could, which ultimately means that "peer2pirates" help America fight those nasty terrorists by not buying their petrol.

What? RIAA? Is NBC a member of RIAA? Or do you mean MPAA? I don't know who are the members of both associations, but from the news I got the impression this was an opinion of NBC alone...

Still, this is nothing more than a publicity stunt... move along.

  4. Yeah, you're right, I meant MPAA... Even if I mix both a lot, since they're fundamentally the same guys...
